StudySouq is a free website where students and parents in Qatar list, find and arrange to buy second-hand study items — books, uniforms, calculators, electronics and equipment.

StudySouq is not a party to any sale. We don't own, inspect, store or deliver items, and we don't handle payments. Each deal is between the buyer and the seller.

You must be at least 13 years old.

If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use StudySouq, and they are responsible for your use of it. We strongly recommend bringing a parent or friend to any meet-up.

By signing up you confirm you're 13 or older and, if you're under 18, that a parent or guardian agrees to these terms for you.

Give accurate details and keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

One person, one account. Don't pretend to be someone else or a school.

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Privacy.

Only list items you own and are allowed to sell. Photos must be of the actual item, and the description and condition must be honest.

Not allowed: photocopied, scanned or printed copies of books, and PDFs or other digital copies (selling these breaks copyright law); stolen or counterfeit goods; exam papers or answers that aren't meant to be shared; weapons; drugs, alcohol, tobacco or vapes; medicines; adult content; animals; anything illegal in Qatar; and anything that isn't for studying or school life.

Listings stay up for a limited time and can be relisted. We may remove any listing that breaks these terms.

You own what you post. By posting a listing, photo, request, message or rating, you let StudySouq show it on the site and in link previews, and resize or crop it for that, for as long as it's up.

Only post photos and text you have the right to use, and never other people's personal details.

Buyers pay sellers directly, in cash, when they meet. StudySouq doesn't process, hold or guarantee payments, and charges no fees.

Check the item before you pay. Meet in a public place such as a school, campus or mall. Never send money in advance.

An accepted offer is an agreement to meet and complete the sale at that price; please honour it or tell the other person quickly if plans change.

Be respectful. No harassment, hate, threats, spam or scams.

Keep conversations on StudySouq until you've agreed to meet — it helps us act if something goes wrong.

Ratings must be honest and only about a real deal.

Report listings, requests and chats with the Report button. We review reports and may warn, restrict or suspend accounts.

Because StudySouq isn't part of the sale, we can't refund payments or guarantee an item. Disagreements should be sorted out between buyer and seller.

We may remove content, or restrict, suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or put others at risk. We may share information with the authorities when the law requires it.

StudySouq is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for items, meet-ups, or losses arising from deals between users.

We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we'll tell you on the site before they apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar will deal with any dispute.
